Two winning banner illustrations for a contest held by
VOX.com. The selections have since been incorporated into hundreds of blog designs throughout the VOX community, and are now being used on
LiveJournal.com as well.
Personal Thoughts
I was greatly inspired by
Josh Agle (Shag) when illustrating these tiki-themed banners for the VOX contest. I attempted to capture his painted style as much as possible through digital means.
