Thesis Document, in form of "Celeb"

Project Description

The main objective for the final semester of the Honours degree, Communication Design at NSCAD University is a written thesis document. The thesis must pertain to a topic related to Communication Design as well as a theme chosen yearly for the graduating students to work within. The 2007 theme was 'image' and all written and designed material was an interpretation.

Personal Thoughts

After choosing my thesis topic of celebrity culture and the fascination our society currently has with fame in all forms, it was only appropriate that my thesis document should be designed with the paradigms of a tabloid magazine. Gossips magazines such as Ok, Life&Style, and People are some of the leading sources of celebrity culture information for the general population, and as such, were the inspiration for designing the document.
