Website Redesign

I’m in the process of redesigning the imagery of the site again. This constant restlessness and desire for change is why I would never be able to get a tattoo. I get bored too quickly. :)

People always say it’s most difficult to do design work for yourself and I’d have to agree. I have a really hard time with it. The past few website designs just weren’t cutting it for me, and while this one isn’t quite finished yet, I already feel like it’s heading the right way. It’s a lot cleaner, incorporates some custom patterns, and best of all, puts a fierce Geisha front and centre… or at the top and to the right… Hopefully by chipping away at it over time I’ll end up with something that really works for me in the end, but already I’m pretty happy with the results.

New Site Design!

The newly designed JaredMacPherson.com is finally launched! After many months of good intentions but bad follow-through, I decided it was time to finish the new website design I had been tinkering around with. And I finally have a blog incorporated into the site! No more need for separate URLs.

I have to do a major shout out to Alex Carabi for doing an amazing job coding the new layout. His quick work, clean code, and ridiculous patience was much more than I could have hoped for. Without his talents, I never would have had this sucker up and running. Thanks Alex!

And, as always, I have to thank Jenn Duong for answering my countless questions about web stuff and not making me feel dumb.

Welcome!
